Nursing Resource Guide

This is the guide that you will be using for your Nursing courses here at SUNY Delhi. Here you will find information on specific courses, general information about searching for and using library resources.

InterLibrary Loan

Inter Library Loan or "ILL" is a system that can help you to get materials that we don't have in the library free of charge. ILL is a service provided through the Resnick Library where we work with other campuses to ensure students have the materials that they need to do their work successfully. This guide will include information on how to access and order materials through ILL. Let's say that you did a search and came up the article below that looks perfect for your research. Click "Check for Full Text" to see if the library has full access. 

 

If we don't have access to it in the library databases you will see a line of text that says "Request from another library"
 

You will then be taken to a screen where the information for the article being requested will be auto filled. All you have to do is make sure everything looks good and then hit Send Request. 

Check on an Existing ILL Request

If you would like to check on the status of a requested ILL item you can do so by taking the following steps: 

  1. Go to the library homepage here. 
  2. Scroll down until you see the search box marked MILO.
  3. Hit search. 
  4. At the top of MILO you should see a bar of different options one of which says "ILL Request" click this and it will take you to your ILL page (you may be asked to sign in).  An image for what this will look like is seen below.
