Library Policies: Weather Policy

This guide contains many of the Resnick Library's policies for students, faculty, and staff.

Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather or any other incident that affects campus operations the Resnick Library will follow the below course of action:

  1.  If classes are cancelled for the day the library will operate with open hours of 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; if the inclement weather/incident persists or continues to deteriorate then a decision will be made on remaining closed all day prior to opening or closing early.
  2.  If classes are delayed for the day, the Library will open at the same as classes start for the day.
  3.  If classes are cancelled for the remainder of the day at a set time in the afternoon or evening, the Library will also close at that same time.
