The Resnick Library has two other Special Collection Rooms that are restricted to students within specific majors, and are not available to be reserved except by Peer Mentors or faculty within these majors for academic purposes.

  • Price Nursing Room

Room Use Policies

The following policies are in effect for using any rooms within the Resnick Library. You must agree to these before you can complete a reservation request:

  • Rooms which are available to be reserved may ONLY be reserved by SUNY Delhi recognized groups and current students/faculty/staff for the purposes of academic purposes. Faculty/Staff must have reservations to use the Resnick and/or Brock Room at all times.
  • All study rooms are locked 24/7.  To use these spaces you must first check out a key or access card from the library desk. The rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis if they have not been reserved in advance.
  • The Merrill Vet Sci Room and the Price Nursing Room are locked 24/7. Any individual in the room must be a student in the respective major; to use these spaces you must first check out a key or access card. These rooms are not reservable.
  • Reservations for study groups must be made AT LEAST 24 hours in advance on a M-F (requests put in on a weekend day will not be processed until the next regularly open weekday). Library staff must approve the reservation.
  • Reservations can be made for up to 2 hour blocks of time; they must be on the half-hour or hour to maximize the number of groups who can reserve on any given day.
  • Groups/Individuals are limited to one (1) reservation per day, and no more than two (2) reservations per week.
  • Recognized clubs or organizations MUST have an approved Bronco Connect reservation from Student Activities in order to reserve a room.
  • If an individual/group has not picked up the key to a room within 15 minutes of the reservation start time, their reservation is forfeited. If this happens more than twice, the remainder of their reservations are also forfeited.
  • Keys MAY NOT be handed off to someone else. They must be turned back in to the front desk and re-checked out.
  • Room must be left clean and any furniture needs to be returned to its original spot if moved.
