Cultural Anthropology (Tremblay, ANTH 100): Home

Welcome!

Hi folks! This guide was made for the students in Professor Tremblay's ANTH 320 course, Cultural Anthropology. Here you will find resources that will guide you as you are researching for the final project for the course.

The Assignment

This is a small cultural awareness campaign project for a 100/introductory-level course in cultural anthropology. The goal is for the students to research and present on a practice/belief/issue from another culture – using peer-reviewed anthropological sources. The final project will be in the form of a poster.

This project is scaffolded. Students will submit a proposal, then a title and abstract, and then they will complete the final project poster to present at STAR Day. Below are the prompts for each component, in case that is helpful for you for planning purposes.
