In collaboration with M.O.S.A.I.C., the Chief Diversity Office, and the Resnick Academic Achievement Center's office of Access and Equity, this guide was created to provide the SUNY Delhi campus with direct access to local and national resources that support diversity, equity, inclusion, and access. In this Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion LibGuide, students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community will be able to find information and learn about key DEI topics that include Anti-Racism, Disability, Gender Identity or Expression, Sexual Orientation, Socioeconomic Background, and Religious Beliefs. This is by no means an exhaustive list, and we acknowledge that not all people have the privilege and equitable access to these resources. This is what drives our intention to continually visit this guide to be reviewed and updated to reflect the needs of our patrons. If you have a suggestion for the libguide, please use the DEI Resource Request Form.
"The State University of New York is committed to being the most inclusive state system in the country. As a proud member of this dynamic university system, SUNY Delhi is energized to lead the charge in developing a welcoming and intellectually diverse environment for all, a place where diversity, equity and success guide our achievement, scholarship, character and global citizenship. This means modeling inclusive excellence by enhancing our campus climate where students, faculty, staff and community feel valued, supported, and thrive. Our college must be a place where we rise above biases, stereotypes and inequity, a place where diversity and inclusiveness are central components of the SUNY Delhi experience."
"SUNY Delhi gives honor and respect to the land and its original inhabitants. We recognize that the land used for educating current and future generations is not our land but belongs to the Indigenous people and the descendants of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We will continue educational efforts for the campus community to learn the history of the Haudenosaunee People."
