Welcome to the Mildred and Louis Resnick Library Archives.
An archives is a collection of documents and additional physical items that give us historical information about an institution, a place, or even a group of people. The college has selected a number of items to preserve in its archives. The archives are housed in the College Archives and Special Collections Room. The purpose of this site is to help you discover what is included in the SUNY Delhi archives.
We hope you enjoy exploring our collections.
We're currently working on a grant that would allow the archive to digitize our entire collection of student newspapers. Student newspapers from the college reflect the history of not only SUNY Delhi, but it's surrounding counties. The earliest issue of the student newspaper was published in 1922 and it has continued to be a Delhi tradition to this day. Once digitized, the newspapers will be made available online in the planned SUNY Delhi Dspace (an online digital repository) as well as NewYorkHeritage.org. Watch this space for updates on our progress and information about future plans for archival projects.
