Finding Scholarly Articles

Use these databases to search for articles. In most cases, you'll be able to access the full-text of the articles and the database will create your citations for you!

Article citation database from the National Agricultural Library. Covers agriculture, veterinary science, and plant science journals. Some links to full text. Coverage: 15th century-present.

Science Direct
Index of journals in science, technology, medicine, and social sciences. Full text available for most journals. Provided by SUNYConnect. Coverage: 1823-present.
Academic Search Complete
A general database for research on any topic. Try selecting "magazines" and "newspapers" under "Source Types" on the left to narrow down your results.
American Veterinary Medical Association
Provides full text access to the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Journal of Veterinary Research
