For this assignment, we've asked you to select a music video and analyze its message with at least one library resource. Don't automatically assume that your favorite song will work for this assignment, although it might! Ask yourself:
What music videos do I know that are about important issues?
You might have to do some searching while choosing your video to determine if there is research to support your argument.
Very Important Note: It is unlikely that you will find scholarly articles written about the specific music video you choose. Instead, you will be researching the topic the video addresses, then using what you know about the video to combine your knowledge of the two. Use that brain power!

This would be a good choice for the assignment. The video shows clips from the motion picture "Selma", and would work well with an analysis using scholarly research on the Civil Rights and/or Black Lives Matter movements.
